Our First House Concert

Wow, what a weekend !

RiverDance is evolving in such a special way, as was so evident this weekend. Ohio guest headed our way to enjoy a weekend with their daughter. Time to also take a break from all that white stuff that delayed an earlier visit. Enjoying one another company by the fire, life similarities, and interests were shared. After a much needed evening of rest, time to start the morning with a little birthday cake combined with more traditional breakfast fare. The guitar, banjo, and mandolin, came out as father and daughter engaged played together and their music fill both the great room and the deck.

Our next guests arrived in the middle of the concert, three couples from Tennessee who were celebrating birthdays. They choose different places to gather several times a year and RiverDance certainly enjoyed having them join us. They did not take long to feel at home, and got the benefit of enjoying the company and the music of our first guests. Such a good time was had by our Tennessee friends that they have already signed up to come back in 2011 for a longer stay.
